If you need both particulate removal plus water absorption, the 70076 can handle both. The filter is extra long for extra life over the 400HS-30 model. This 30 micron Hydrosorb® filter is designed to remove common contaminants such as dirt, dust, and rust. The Hydrosorb® media swells when water is present keeping water from getting into your fuel. The more water that is absorbed, the more the media swells, slowing the flow and alerting you that the filter needs to be changed. The spin-on design makes change-out quicker and easier.
