The 70106 filter is a multi-fuel filter that can remove particulates while detecting phase separation in ethanol blends up to E15 AND water in straight gasoline. Phase separation can occur when gasoline containing even small amounts of ethanol come in contact with water. The 70106 is a 30 micron filter made of microglass for the finest in filtration. It removes such common contaminants as dirt, dust, and rust while detecting phase separation.
